This position is largely work from home; it will begin with an Independent Contractor hire, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time. Room for growth and for a transition to a more design-focused role, if skills & interest are demonstrated.
Responsibilities:
Generating purchase orders, quote requests, and client proposals
Placing & expediting orders, coordinating returns
Managing the sample library
Arranging deliveries and appointments, managing project calendars, scheduling with vendors & clients
Recording and compiling meeting notes
Coordination of and presence at project installs
Assisting with online shop production and order fulfillment
Requirements:
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill and consolidate information into concise updates
An extremely organized personality, with a “zero inbox” state of mind
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, Powerpoint / Google Slides
Based in Los Angeles, with a driver's license and reliable car
Ability to perform occasional physical work associated with the job, such as merchandise returns and light furniture lifting during installs
